RGS-IBG Postgraduate Mid-Term Conference 2012, University of Nottingham - Registration Open!

Geographical Reflections

Registration is now open for the RGS-IBG Postgraduate Forum Mid-term Conference, to be hosted over the weekend of 20th – 22nd April 2012 at the School of Geography, Nottingham University. The aim of the conference is to provide a welcoming, relaxed and supportive environment for postgraduates to present any aspect of their research to their peers.

December 13th

RGS-IBG Early-Career Researcher Awards - deadlines in January and February 2012

Grants of between £250 and £3,000 for researchers in the early stages of their careers, carrying out academic research in the pursuit of geographical knowledge and understanding. Deadlines for these awards fall in January and February 2012.

RGS-IBG Postgraduate research awards - deadlines in January and February 2012

Grants of between £500 and £6,000 for research and fieldwork carried out by PhD researchers undertaking academic dissertations. The project should aim to develop geographical knowledge and understanding.

The next deadline is 20 January for the Henrietta Hutton and Monica Cole Research Grants, followed by 24 February for the Slawson Awards, Frederick Soddy Award and the Dudley Stamp Memorial Awards.
