CONNECTING POSTGRADUATES IN GEOGRAPHY

RGS-IBG Annual Conference

Background

The RGS-IBG Annual Conference, held in late August each year, is host to a range of Postgraduate Forum (PGF) Sessions. The PGF sessions provide a forum for postgraduate students to present their research in progress and offer the opportunity to obtain constructive feedback from peers and academics in a supportive environment. The sessions are designed to showcase the diversity of new research being undertaken at both UK and international universities. Presentations are encouraged from all areas of geographical research including sub-disciplines as diverse as social, cultural, environmental and physical geography. Each session is themed around the abstracts submitted and papers are up to 15 minutes in duration followed by 5 minutes for questions and feedback.
